How did you decide you wanted to work in accounting/finance?
 
I'm really great with numbers, and I like the challenge of getting them right! There is also the helping part of the job: sharing information in a way that's accessible to multiple users
 
What are the highlights of your career so far (length in field, education, places worked, clients served, etc)?
 
I have 15 years of experience, a BS in Finance and Business Management, and a MBA with graduate certificate in Applied Finance; I have worked in multiple industries and have enjoyed each experience
 
Any specific Industries you specialize in or enjoy serving?
 
I have worked for both for-profit and non-profit organizations. I think the people make the place, and I enjoy the challenges of both environments while working with incredible people.
 
What three words best describe you?
 
driven, collaborative, attentive
 
Where did you grow up? How did you end up where you live now?
 
I spent part of my childhood on the East Coast, and moved to Colorado as a teenager. I fell in love with the mountains, lakes, and open spaces. I have lived in Colorado ever since!
 
What did you want to be when you were a little kid?
 
A teacher. I wanted to read stories to children, teach them math, and engage their love of learning.
 
What do you like to do for fun outside of work?
 
I like to walk, swim, bike ride, attend sporting events, and read
